Well, we finally have approval for the Wireless Installation (Access Point & linking) for City<->South over the hill. This means we can get greater coverage and network linking of numerous sites on the southern side. Thanks to John Jenner VK5KJJ and Robert for his help in negotiating with the Tafe for the installation, which was on behalf of both South Coast Amateur Radio Club Inc.(SCARC Inc.) and Airstream. We were in a bit of a stagnant situation, until someone was willing and able to make a decision.
The installation is hoping to commence in a fortnights time (all going well), with both Airstream and SCARC combining to install, update and do some needed maintenance on the Packet BBS site.
